"THE VIRUX" LP - Endemic Emerald

United Kingdom’s veteran hip hop producer, Endemic Emerald, recently dropped “The Virux” LP, his 3rd solo album. Motivated by the global pandemic, Covid-19, he set out to supply hip hop heads with a much needed cure. He called on a list of legendary underground MCs to assist including Tragedy Khadafi, Ruste Juxx, Royal Flush, Sadat X, Planet Asia, Chris Rivers and General Steele of Smif-N-Wessun. Take a listen to the record “Militant Ethos” by Tragedy Khadafi, Ruste Juxx, General Steele and Royal Flush that starts the album off with a gritty boom bap beat where they compare themselves to an army of highly trained civilians. Or the record “The Struggle” by Neek the Exotic and Darkim Be Allah that talks about providing a hustle with moral standards. You’ll find that the tone of the project is hip hop in its most genuine form… Authenticity! The takeaway is that this is arguably Endemic Emerald’s best work to date. This is a solid project, be it the beats, rhymes or concept. From beginning to end it's well thought out and put together.
